Working, and occasionally playing in a 400 year old Tyneside fishing pub, Sam’s songwriting and innate character caught the attention of Ben Howard’s manager, which led to solo tour supports with the likes of Catfish and The Bottlemen, Ben Howard, Daughter, George Ezra, Hozier, Nick Mulvey, Willy Mason and Benjamin Francis Leftwich. Sam’s powerful self-released debut singlePlay God is produced by his mate Bramwell Bronte and mixed by Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys).
