With the first note you hear from Phalcons you realise that they could not have formed in any other part of the world apart from North Wales. They possess its rugged, yet magically mysterious mountains and rippling rivers in their very being and in every sound they create.
Already veterans from previous bands of the flourishing psychedelic pop/folk scene, that is synonymous with the area, Phalcons’ four members offer something familiar, yet challengingly new. They take influences from an array of diverse artists, from Chris Cohen and Courtney Barnett to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
Their dreamy and emotionally pure sound can be found distilled perfectly into their first single, ‘Idle Ways‘, which will be out this coming November.
