Over the past year the three members of Sun Drums (previously called Bagheera) have made a name for themselves in the city of Liverpool by mixing warm vocal harmonies with an array of samplers and acoustic instruments. Hollow Home, the band’s free self-released EP, caused a stir in the Blogosphere where they were compared to the likes of Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes and Yeasayer. However, with the change of name comes a progression towards a new sound. A sound which incorporates bigger beats and prominent electronics,while retaining the rich vocal harmonies that first got them noticed. Sun Drums are bigger and more exciting than ever before.
